Our LED tubes are all made from glass with the premium version having internal aluminium. The LED tube itself is made with a number of low or medium-powered LEDs, which light up the entire tube and balance heat conduction. The LED tube, therefore, produces less heat than traditional fluorescent fittings.
One of the great benefits of LED tube fittings is that the light direction can be controlled. The beam can be narrowed to focus on certain areas, and the illumination output meets that of other fittings but at the expense of far less energy. Like other retrofitted lights, LED tubes function using a driver, located inside the tube itself.
